FAQ

Fence questions, answered.

Quick answers for Southwest Michigan homeowners, farms, and small businesses who want a cleaner estimate start.

How long does fence installation take?

Most projects take 1-3 days depending on length, site conditions, and gate requirements. We will give you a clear timeline during the estimate.

Do I need a survey before installing a fence?

Not always, but if your property line is unclear or close to a neighbor's boundary, a survey is often the safest choice. We can help you think through it during the estimate.

What fence works best for dogs?

It depends on your dog and how they use the yard. The gate and bottom clearance matter as much as the fence line. We cover options during the free estimate.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. You can request one through the contact page, Photo Inspection form, Project Planner, or by phone.

Is the cost guide a final estimate?

No. It is a ballpark planning range. Final pricing depends on measurements, layout, gates, tear-out, and what we see during the estimate.

Can I upload photos for an estimate?

Yes. The photo inspection form lets you upload multiple images when uploads are enabled. If uploads are unavailable, you can still submit details and email photos.

Is the Project Planner a survey?

No. It is for rough planning and estimate prep only. It is not a legal boundary map, parcel tool, or final measurement.
